Totally Natural

A big trend I’ve been seeing in weddings lately is the use of natural elements. Wood, antlers, stone, twigs, leaves. This trend worked well in the summer, and I can see it easily transitioning through fall and winter.

These elements are so sweet and simple, but they can make a big impact. They’re neutral enough to go with almost any color palette, but a bit unexpected so they don’t disappear in the grand scheme of things. One of the best things about these elements is that they can add a bit more of a masculine feel to the day (so the groom doesn’t feel like his representation is lost in the sea of pinks and hearts and rhymes). I personally love the juxtaposition of rough and soft, so I will probably make use of this trend when I get married someday.

Thoughts on the use of different natural elements in weddings?
